Senior Game To Do's and Links

• Student-Athlete Requirements
  • Annual physical examination
  • Students must be enrolled full-time (minimum of 20 units) at the CIF member school for which they are competing
  • Academic Eligibility: 2.0 GPA while maintaining progress towards graduation requirements. See FUSD Academic Eligibility Guidelines. 
    • Academic Probation: some schools/districts allow students to remain eligible when these requirements have not been met

Game and Transportation Schedule

• Meet with the Athletic Director to start the FUSD Human Resources process: 
  • Be prepared to give: first/last name as on SS card, birthdate, cell number, & mail address
• HR will contact new hire to complete: 
  • Fingerprinting (1-time cost) 
  • New Hire Packet (There are 3 steps to the new hire packet) 
    • Monitor email for a link to complete step 1
    • Then, monitor email for an additional document for you to sign
    • Lastly, take an I9 document (and any additional requested information) to HR in person.
• HR will start process to issue FUSD email address: 
  • New Hire will follow-up to get email address, by contacting FUSD Technology @ 457-2600 
  • New Hire notifies Athletic Director at: dara.johnson@fresnounified.org with new FUSD email.   
    • AD adds new coach to the “Hoover Athletics Staff” Teams page.
