Hello Hoover Pate Family,
My name is Dr. Courtney Curtis. I am excited to join the Hoover family as the next principal of Hoover High School for the 2023 – 2024 school year. Hoover is a special place and one of the best high schools in all of Fresno due to our diverse student population, unique programs, great staff, and supporting community.
I am coming from Gaston Middle School as the principal there for the past 4.5 years. I have also served at the district level and even as a vice principal at Hoover for three years. Prior to serving in leadership roles, I served as a history teacher for 10 years.
I am excited to enter my 19th year in education at Hoover with each of you. We will build upon the structures already set up and work to strengthen relationships with our students, staff, and families.
